Switzer Center

Located on the south side of Gaylord Family - Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, the Switzer Center is the day-to-day operations center for Oklahoma football.

The 132,000-square-foot complex features a state-of-the-art locker room, training room, nutrition area, coaches offices and team meeting rooms.

Officially dedicated on May 5, 2018, the center is named after the legendary Barry Switzer, who led the Sooners to three national championships, 12 Big Eight Conference titles, eight bowl wins in 13 appearances and an overall record of 157-29-4 (.837) in 16 seasons.

Switzer is one of four coaches to compile more than 100 wins during his OU tenure -- Bob Stoops (190), Bud Wilkinson (145) and Bennie Owen (122) the other -- making Oklahoma the only program in the country with four 100-win coaches. Statues of all four occupy the Coaches Courtyard just outside the Grand Lobby.

Just east of the Switzer Center is the Carl B. Anderson All-American Plaza, which features an interactive display honoring every OU All-American and the name of every letterwinner to ever wear the crimson and cream in any sport.
